Jotun (Frost Giant)

Frost giants in Asengervald aren’t really different from frost giants in the standard Pathfinder setting in terms of ability scores and general behaviour. They are violent creatures who enjoy dominating lesser creatures, even each other. They gather in tribes of perhaps a dozen individuals let my a jarl and his mate. Rulership is established by killing the old jarl and any other challengers and taking his place. Female jarls are certainly possible, but since frost giant fights are a matter of pure strength against strength and female frost giants tend to be a little smaller than their male counterparts, women don’t often take a leadership role.

What is different about frost giants (and fire giants) are their origins. Frost giants are the descendants of the union between Ymir and a harem of ogresses.

Frost giants often work closely with frost folk, who they find expendable but useful, and breed frost worms and winter wolves as pets and war mounts.
